Abu Kafan at a glance
Abu Kafan is one of the most spectacular dive sites in Safaga. It is a large, elongated reef in the Red Sea, featuring a southern and northern plateau where divers are sure to have a great time.
A peek into the blue waters of Abu Kafan is always worth it, especially on the northern plateau for shark enthusiasts. The steep walls on the east and west sides are ideal for drift dives—provided the current is coming from the right direction.
