Boahura Express - Meemu Atoll

This dive site is located on the outer reef between Manta’s and More and Medhufushi Outside. Depending on the direction of the current, divers follow either the left or right side of the reef. The reef slopes diagonally at an angle of approximately 45° throughout the entire dive. At a depth of about 30 meters, the reef then drops steeply downward as a wall. During the dive, you’ll repeatedly encounter schools of blue-striped and humphead snappers, fusiliers, sweetlips, and other schooling fish. Turtles can be spotted, as well as tuna and sharks swimming along the reef. Young whitetip sharks are often seen sleeping beneath the coral boulders.
