Coral Garden - Noonu Atoll

The uninhabited island of Maafunafaru is just a 15-minute boat ride away; it is completely surrounded by a beautiful reef of hard and soft corals. Schools of fusiliers, surgeonfish, and bannerfish are found primarily on the shallow reef top. When diving the undercuts and overhangs on the northwest side down to a depth of 19 meters, Marko fans will be in for a real treat: pipefish, tubeworms, nudibranchs, and many different species of shrimp can be found there. Moray eels, boxfish, octopuses, and anemones round out the scene. This is a spot where both beginner and advanced divers will feel right at home.
