Divers' Paradise - Meemu Atoll at a glance
This dive site is the second channel in the northwest of Meemu Atoll. If the current permits, divers can swim through this channel from one end to the other; alternatively, they can drift into the atoll. The channel is easy to cross due to the relatively shallow depth at the drop-off. Below the channel’s edge, you can see beautiful undercuts, and there are plenty of fish here, including sharks, eagle rays, mackerel, and fusiliers. Both corners of the channel are teeming with schooling fish, and schools of barracuda have also been spotted there on numerous occasions. During the final drift into the interior of the atoll, you’ll pass overhangs and beautiful coral boulders.
