Hindi Gidir
The dive site
Hindi Gidir at a glance
It is a small sandy island with a lighthouse and a few abandoned buildings. The dive usually begins at the southern end of the island. If the current allows, divers spend the first part of the dive in the open water, waiting for the frequent schools of hammerhead sharks. Back at the reef, you’ll find the usual barracudas, tuna, and snapper families. It’s a beautiful reef with plenty of hard corals and some soft corals.
