Island Sea at a glance

Right next to a parking lot lies a lake, no more than three meters deep and fed by seawater. From here, the path leads through a narrow tunnel, about 50 meters long, which descends in steps to the open sea. At a depth of 23 meters, you’ll reach a steep wall lined with massive boulders that drops down to 60 meters. From here, it’s best to continue diving to the left: You’ll see fauna typical of the Mediterranean, such as sea bream, monkfish, moray eels, and scorpionfish, as well as some of the most interesting underwater formations in the “Mare Nostrum.”
