A reef that slopes gently from the surface down to a reef flat extending far into the channel. Depths range from 5 to 25 meters. Many individual reef boulders with cleaner fish. Throughout the entire reef flat, there are large schools of fish, sea turtles, and Napoleon wrasse. During the season from December through May, manta rays are common, and whale sharks are occasionally spotted on the outer side of the channel.
