S'Aguilot

Right next to the large “La Mola” peninsula, “just around the corner,” lies one of the most beautiful dive sites on Dragonera.

It’s a very simple yet diverse spot that has something for everyone—from the sun-drenched shallows with plenty of hiding spots for octopuses to the deeper rocks that stand like pillars at depths of up to 30 meters. This is the habitat of many moray eels, conger eels, and lobsters. Lovers of colorful nudibranchs are sure to be delighted as well. The route there is lined with beautiful seagrass beds (Posidonia), over which barracudas regularly patrol.

On the way back, the coastal formations offer a wide variety of routes, but always the opportunity to explore the many crevices, holes, and tunnels in search of a diverse array of Mediterranean life.

The wreckage of an old fishing boat and its old diesel engine—home to resident moray eels and conger eels—provide the perfect finale to an exciting dive.
