Tobia Arba

The dive site

Tobia Arba at a glance

Even though “Arba” means “four” in German, seven tower-like coral formations rise from the sandy bottom at this dive site, extending from a depth of 12 to 15 meters to just below the water’s surface.   Each formation has its own distinctive features, making it quite easy to find your way around. Soft corals in every color, nudibranchs, and schools of small fish make Tobia Arba what it is—an exciting spot for night dives and photographers.   During the day, many lionfish hide under overhangs and coral blocks. At dusk, the lionfish at Tobia Arba leave their hiding places to hunt small crabs and shrimp. Scorpionfish sit well-camouflaged on the corals, lying in wait for their dinner.   Aside from large fish, this dive site offers everything a diver’s heart desires.
