The dive site
Underwater Nature Reserve at a glance
Fuerteventura’s dive sites are renowned for their unique abundance of fish, especially large species. Protected by the Spanish Underwater Nature Reserve, marine life is able to reproduce freely and has developed a unique trust in humans over many years. As a result, every dive is a journey of discovery into the underwater world, made a truly unique experience by the great biodiversity and the “up-close encounters” with marine life.
We visit six different dive sites, including an underwater nature reserve. With beginners, we start by diving at 6 meters, and after a few dives, we reach a maximum depth of between 15 and 20 meters. Visibility ranges from 10 to 50 meters, and water temperatures range from 19 to 25°C.
