Diving in Spain/Mallorca
The largest of the Balearic Islands is just a two-hour flight from Germany. The Spanish island’s landscape is characterized, on the one hand, by its more than 500-kilometer-long coastline, featuring steeply sloping limestone cliffs and bays with wonderfully wide sandy beaches. On the other hand, the thoroughly diverse inland landscape is captivating: pine forests, rolling hills, and high Mediterranean mountains—the island’s diversity is truly one-of-a-kind.
Thanks to its mild climate, the Mallorcan way of life, its cosmopolitan character, and its diverse culinary scene, Mallorca has become one of the Germans’ favorite islands. Although known as a tourist hotspot, Mallorca offers, above all, the exact opposite: tranquility, unspoiled beauty, and fascinating natural landscapes.
As a diver, you can experience everything the Mediterranean has to offer in Mallorca: reefs, cliffs, grottoes and caves, schools of barracuda, shipwrecks, macro and micro-organisms, and much more.
